The Joy's of it being a Monday!

Well I thought that it was going to be such a great day......
1. I had no kids to drop off at school or babysitters since Madison wanted to stay with my parents and Joshua stayed with his dad.
2. I woke up on time and was dressed and ready to go by 7.
Well I was so wrong about that, but the day is young so it has time to turn around.

While driving this morning I did my usual routine and low and behold a HWY patrol man flashed his lights at me. Thoughts kept going thru my mind as to why he had pulled me over and I didn't understand what I did to have him do this. Well he struts up to my window, Proof of insurance and license please.....then persist to ask me if I knew why he had pulled me over? Well NO I dont, and he preceeded in telling me that I had ran a stop sign. I said I don't believe that is what I did, but maybe I didn't sit at the stop sign the amount of time that I should. Well needless to say I got a ticket for it and Im sure paying dearly for it.

Well I made it to work and now Im looking through my email and come across my new thought for the day and it has made the day better.......I have attached it so you to might enjoy.

DEEP THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

What is Your Mission Statement?

Each of us needs to have a personal Mission Statement. Jesus gave us His mission statement in Luke 4:18 when He said "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised..." His mission statement is clear definition of what He was sent here to do and accomplish. Everything he did and said was according to His mission statement. Our mission statement should speak to our life long objectives. The mission statement is what we use to look back over the day and evaluate if the things we did were productive. If our activities did not contribute to our mission statement, then we do not need to do those things anymore. Today, let us ask God what is His purpose for our lives. We will ask and He will give us a scripture that will lay the foundation for our statement. It is a great day because finally we will find out why we are here.
